The Taku 24L from Granite Gear gets its name from a glacier in Alaska in case you were wondering “whats in a name”. This particular glacier is thought to be the deepest and thickest glacier in the world. The pack is a stout 2lb 6oz and although for a day pack weighs in so so on the scale but it’s organizing and features outweigh anything negative. Total volume is 24 liters/1460 cubic inches. It does not have an adjustable torso strap. This pack is designed for torso’s measuring 18″- 21″ and waist sizes from 27″ – 48″ and is constructed of ripstop nylon which is strong and durable.¬†taku24

The middle compartment has a zipper at the top offering secure storage for gear, and organizing features like a pen sleeve, pocket for your wallet and a nice clip for your keys. The largest of the 3 compartments will hold all kinds of gear, layers, a small laptop, tablet or a hydration reservoir.
