Hello to all my fellow mountain bikers out there! Today I’m unboxing and reviewing the Giro Terraduro mountain bike shoe.
This is a fantastic all around shoe thats not terribly expensive but is chock full of features and benefits! From its microfiber upper, to the ratcheting closure system to its anti-microbial insole the Giro Terraduro is one awesome shoe.
Here’s a little excerpt from GIRO:
POWERFUL PEDALING WITH CONFIDENT HIKING
The Giro Terraduro™was created to navigate the demands of all-mountain riding and enduro where performance is needed on and off the bike. This shoe is built around a stout nylon shank that pedals like a pure XC shoe, combined with a grippy Vibram® rubber outsole that inspires confidence when scrambling over rocks and logs. The fit is secure and supportive thanks to a slim, micro-adjustable buckle and two-strap closure system, while a reinforced toe box offers protection from scrapes and impacts.
- High-quality, breathable microfiber; Strong and secure N1 ratcheting buckle closure (replaceable); Offset strap “D-ring” at mid-foot; Rubber toe cap
- Molded SPD-compatible shank with optimized cleat zone; Full Vibram® High-traction lugged outsole; Flexible forefoot zone for walking
- Molded EVA footbed with medium arch support; Aegis® anti-microbial treatment
- 420 grams (size 42.5)
It’s also very comfortable off bike too so if your doing any hike-a-biking rest assured that you can still hike-a-bike and have your feet comfortable the whole time. The only negative thing I would say about the Giro Terraduro shoe is that it gets wet very easily on foggy/misty rides or if your in tall grass your feet will get wet.
