What are you doing for Father’s Day?

I usually lead a special father’s day hike to the Gaviota Wind Caves in Gaviota,CA. The hike is mellow and is about 2.5 miles round trip with about 600 ft. of elevation gain. The first part of the hike is on a paved road then it changes to a single track trail. There are lower and upper wind caves/tunnels with fantastic views of the ocean and ridge-line. The hike is for adults and children ages 7 and up. There are several places to go and explore in and around the caves. This is a perfect place to spend your father’s day with your children. There are great views to have while having your lunch (provided if purchased from this site). See below for what lunch is provided. We are offering this hike at 50% off our normal rate due to fathers day so get out and enjoy the day with us. We will be taking a lot pf pictures and video for the father’s to keep. Children 10 and under are free. We will be meeting at the trailhead parking lot at 10:30 am. We will begin our short day hike shortly after while everyone get’s ready.

If you require anything special please let me know in advance.

From Santa Barbara, travel west for 30 miles on the 101 Freeway. Take the Gaviota Campground exit (just before the rest area and the Gaviota Tunnel en route to Los Olivos). Just before the campground entrance, take the road up the hill to the right. Almost immediately, Gaviota Beach Road turns to the right and there are gravel turnouts on both sides of the road. Park here. The trailhead is on the right next to a mountain lion warning sign.
